LOOKING FOR A WAY OUT
There are so many sorrowful tales of a determined dreamer
who expended all his sweats to gather and utilize all resources needed in the
most effective and efficient way in order to actualize a particular
aspirations, but it's so unfortunate that the denouement of his tales were "and he failed in making those dreams become a reality".
What could have hindered someone who's got every resources
at his disposal from breaking through the blessings of success? A similar
anguish is being suffered by a preponderant numbers of dreamers out there which
subsequently makes them despair of themselves and quit their pursuit.
Yes! Definitely, there are so many obstacles of varying
magnitude that could hinder us from actualizing our dreams in the most harsh
way, and while serious efforts have been directed at tackling these obstacles,
little or no effort has been directed at one particular obstacle which perhaps
most dreamers are oblivious of, and that is an HOSTILE ENVIRONMENT.
Most times, during the stage of our pursuit, we resolve to
remain in a familiar environment because we think it's the best position to shoot
our shots most perfectly. And it's so pathetic that even if our preferred abodes are so unfriendly with us, we still take to stay behind.
It's important for us to realize that an hostile environment
could serve as a great blockage to the actualization of our dreams. It doesn't
matter if you've got every resources at your disposal, an hostile environment will
always appear to be a monster that scares our success away.
The hostility I am writing about is multi-dimensional...We
are all affected in different ways: Like in the case of a graduate who's got his
first degree and seeking employment. He stayed back in his abode for years
unending submitting his CVs to various organizations but yet no breakthrough. Perhaps
if he decides to migrate from that environment he is in, who knows, the
breakthrough may just be near.
Or a dreamer who finds himself in an environment flooded
with pessimists who keeps mocking his dream or sometimes even trying to stop
him from pursuing those dreams. It doesn't matter how passionate this kind of
dreamer may be, if he remains in such environment, he just might not break
through.
It really important for a determined dreamer to realize that
migration is so essential to the ultimate realization of his vision because if
he doesn't migrate when compelled by an unfriendly circumstance, he may end up
killing his own aspirations and perhaps perish with it.
Maybe you should look into the life of a number of dreamers
who have traversed the surface of the earth in search of success and they were
indeed successful away from home. This view is better illustrated in the words
of a scholar poet (Imam shaafi) when he wrote:
"If you were harassed by the occupants of a house, it
is better that you leave than sitting there: so move!
With this discovery of this negative discovery that has
caused a lot of havoc in most dreamers lives, I hear by advice with the
colorful vomit of my garrulous pen, " that when confronted by a deadly hostile
environment in our various pursuits of an enviable dream, we should leave for a
friendly and accommodating atmosphere, and trust me, a breakthrough is near...Give
it a trial and the Lord is your strength.
