THE HIDDEN EASE

I begin in the Name of the Lord of the worlds, The One who has promised to grant Ease to whosoever relies upon HIM.

If there was something that is most certain to occur in the live of mankind after Death, I would say, it is MOMENTS OF DISCOMFORT AND DIFFICULTY.

Mankind by nature, has been designed in such a way that he always desires for things to be rosy in his life. He always want things to align so perfectly with his expectations, and in summary “a life of comfort seems to be his most priced aspiration during his earthly sojourn”.

He seems to forget one basic fact about life, and that is, "a difficulty" that everyone is bound to taste. This difficulty is not bound to inflict human alone, even animals share a taste of it.

But mankind seems to be too engrossed in his overwhelming imaginary view of a blissful life and all of sudden, when things turn out to be ugly for him, he relapse into anguish and becomes depressed running around without him being pursued.

He suffers an overwhelming emotional turbulence and this causes him to despair because he had always anticipated COMFORT.

HEY THERE LISTEN…Difficulty in the live of mankind is something that is bound to happen and its certainty should equally make everyone anticipate it. Yes! No doubt…Going by the degree of discomfort embedded in a difficult moment, anyone would definitely pray against its occurrence in their lives.

But there is one hidden fact about every form of difficulty which most folks seems to be oblivious about, and that is an Hidden Ease.  

We all beat ourselves up when things are not going to our plans, we are quick to blurt out angrily at an innocent fellow who knows nothing about our predicament, we appear grief stricken in public and we subsequently become a victim of our own circumstances.

Maybe if we take a step back and assess the situation at hand, perhaps we would figure out where that hidden ease we so desire lies in the stormy rage of that difficulty.

I know this may sound vague, but trust me it’s real. In every difficulty you are experiencing, there is some form of hidden ease attached to it. And sometimes that difficulty itself may be the Hidden Ease in and within itself, but because of our lack of insight, we are just too blind to see this.

This is vividly illustrated in the predicament of a Man who missed his flight. This caused him to be depressed because he was going for a business trip which would flood millions into his existing millions. He is completely enraged because such opportunity may not come up anytime soon, and all of a sudden in the middle of his rage, he saw a breaking news of a plane crash. The same exact plane he would have boarded. He sighed and said in deep relief “so this was a blessing in disguise”.

Also in the case of a Man who lost his job and felt it was the end of the world for him. He got a new job few months after he had lost his previous job, and his new job earned him 3* the amount he earned from his previous. And when he looked back into the difficulty he had endured, he let out a smile and said, so it was a blessing.

It has been said that you will never acknowledge the value of Ease if you have never experienced any difficulty. This is however true especially if measured against the background of that Quranic verse that says:

“Indeed with every difficulty, there is ease”

Even the divine estimation affirms this….My dear readers, it’s important for us to realize that our difficulties are nothing but a stepping stone to the ultimate victory that lies ahead. But the only thing that guarantees that we will get to that end road is our ability to fight our way out of that deep pit we are currently stocked in. You are the only actor in this movie, if only you get a good grasp of what i meant.
